Warlord Panther

I put the final touches on the Warlord Panther in 1:56 scale.

This was done in traditional three color, soft-edge camouflage. Paints are a mixture of Vallejo Model Air and Vallejo Model Color. The weathering is Mig and AK pigments.

Decals were difficult to set into the zimmerit, but two coats of Solvaset softened the decals enough to conform to the surface.

Below are some photos of my recently completed Warlord Sd Kfz 251.

I decided to weather this pretty heavily to represent a vehicle that's been in the thick of it for some time.

Blitzkrieg Miniatures Marder II

Here are some photos of my recently finished Marder II from Blitzkrieg Miniatures. It's an outstanding model - well sculpted and cast. It also provided a great opportunity to paint the hard-edge geometric camouflage pattern, which I've been wanting to try for some time.

The added stowage is from Warlord.

As usual, the paints are from Vallejo's Model Color range, and the weathering products used are a mix of Mig and AK.

Enjoy the photos.

The original photos below are from before I snapped off the barrel.  Since then, I made the repair and added the camo netting.
